"Form, fit, and function- the three rules when it comes to designing and engineering good lighting products"

I was raised in the Lighting business first working with my father in our family lighting manufacturing company while attending school in pursuit of an degree in Architecture. I then moved on to working for a 24 store major retail Lighting Chain and ran their manufacturing division creating in-house designs and products marketed and sold under the Lighting chain’s name. I then went to work for Hallmark Collective first working in production control and then moving on to become the director of Engineering which I have now held for the past 25 years.

Senior Graphic Designer

I initially went to college for animation, but soon realized that I was terrible at drawing and decided to switch to Graphic design. Best decision ever! I am married to my high school sweetheart, who is a passionate musician. When we aren’t spending time with our families and friends, I love making him binge watch sci-fi shows with me while we polish off an entire pizza. I am so grateful to be part of such a wonderful team and love using my talents to further the company’s success.

“Life is like a box of chocolates you never know what you are going to get”.

I was born in Belize, Central America. After I graduated from High School in 1972 I came to California. I am a mother, I have three children and five grandchildren. My first job was in the garment industry and stayed in the industry for 22 years. After that I decided it was time to change, so I went into the Wall Décor and Lighting Industry. I got hired at Hallmark in 1999 as a customer service rep in the North Bay retail department. I later got transferred to the Engineering department and now currently working as an Import buyer in the purchasing department. I am still here 15 years later.

Director of Supply Chain

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways, submit to Him and He will make your paths straight.  Proverbs 3:5-6

Over the last 30 years, I have enjoyed working in various Supply Chain Management Roles in Lean Manufacturing Operations of fortune 500 companies.   I have had my share of successes and more importantly, have had my share of not so successful times.  However without those less than happy moments I would never have gained the insight to truly appreciate the successes.
By far, our greatest accomplishments come from working with teams and passing on what we have learned to help grow others both personally and professionally.  Something which I could not successfully do if not for the wonderful mentoring I received along my professional path.
And now, I am truly grateful to be a part of this talented Hallmark Team, whose passion for quality and customer satisfaction is truly inspiring because these traits are the “hallmarks” of excellence.

I have worked in the lighting industry for 8 years. It is amazing to me what beautiful art we make as a team and then see it in the most prestigious hotels in the world. The best part of my job is that I am given the opportunity to bring out the best in people.

Production Control Manager

“A year from now you will wish you had started today.” -Karen Lamb

California born and bred, my family lived in many areas of the Valley and Ventura over the years. My last move was to Canyon Country where I graduated from High School. Over the years I have taken courses in Production Planning, Material Control and other APIC courses which have afforded me a working knowledge in production and material control. I've worked in MFG for over 30 years, starting as a stockroom clerk. As a child I would make model cars so figuring out drawings and instructions on how things go together was fun for me. Previously I worked in  Aerospace building monitoring systems for the Trident submarine. After 19 years there, we were purchased and downsized so I was briefly a stay at home Mom. At that time my previous boss was working at Hallmark installing a new computer system she needed help so she called and offered me a temporary position as a Production Planner. That was 1995 and I’m still here.
